Saturday

Yesterday was a really productive and enjoyable day! We went down to the lake in the afternoon. It was the day we wait for all winter! The day the dock goes back in the lake:):):) Dad and Jason spent all afternoon in and out of the freezing water(they did have weighters on but dads leaked, Brrr).

Another sign of spring! Mom's tulips have sprouted:) Mine are still under the ground.

And a day can't go by without getting this look from my precious little girl:)

Of course the kids had to go fishing! The ice was out and the docks were going in! So, we were off to find some worms. It was hard to find them, the ground is still frozen in spots. We went to the neighbors garden and found four of them. That was good enough, because the fish haven't moved into the shallows yet(and I knew we wouldn't need that many:)) Alexis was super happy, I told her she had to bait her own hook this year, and she did a great job, didn't even poke herself.

Brayden was also excited to get his fishing pole out. He did an awesome job of casting and I think he just might be ready for a hook when the fish start biting! Here he has a weed, I can't believe those are growing already!

After all that excitment we went and warmed up by the fire. Alexis asked if she could have a S'more.

So the kids both had enjoyed an afternoon snack:)

After such a fun day outside, we woke up this morning to a few inches of fresh white snow on the ground!! We knew it was coming but it just didn't seem right!

Today we stayed home and enjoyed a quiet day. We've got a busy week ahead of us. Tuesday Alexis has a music concert at school, I work my three nights this week and then Friday we are off to my Brother and SIL's for Easter. Sounds like the weather might finally warm up too:)
