Well its the 20
th of January already where has the time gone? We really haven't been doing anything too exciting:) I have been trying hard to eat better and exercise more and have been doing a great job, so far! I'm down 11 pounds. Woo Hoo!!!
We started off th year by celebrating Christmas on New Years Eve with Tami, Ryan and the kids.
Here's
Brayden ripping open his gift. Cars activity stuff. He loves it and colors with the crayons almost every day.

Alexis with her Bead set. She loves to make Bracelets for everyone. We've only had a few spill on the floor and the cats are always sure to be batting them around the floor.

The boys playing Hi Ho
CherryO
Tami showed Alexis how to put the horses out to pasture and how to canter and trot with them. She was in heaven, actually I think they both were:)

The next day Jason tried to put one of
Braydens toys together. It was a
Knex dump truck. Well 2 1/2 hours later. It was together but it wasn't if you know what I mean!

Grandpa tried to help fix it...

But it just wouldn't work!
Brayden was bummed(I think dad was too!) Now it is in a bag in the closet.

The next weekend I had a
scrapbooking day with grandma and my
SIL's Amy and Kelly. We had a fun time and I also got really caught up in my
digibooks. Can't wait until the next one! Meanwhile Jason had the kids at home. The cats cuddled up to Alexis and took naps while Alexis watched a movie.

Here's a picture of how big
Pumba really is! This is the same changing pad that I had Abigail on during the summer!

Speaking of Abigail here she is last week when she fell asleep in the high chair after she ate her cereal.

And finding her toes:)

The weather was below freezing cold here last week and Alexis even had off school last Thursday then Friday it was 2 hours late. Because of the temps being -20+ below in the mornings. I think they said we went around 72 hours with out being above zero.
Brrr... So we have spent a lot of time inside playing. Riley and
Brayden have become good buds and will go downstairs and play for hours on end. Yes they do squabble once in a while but it can always be settled.

Here's Riley and Abigail(she is rolling all over the place these days)

Last Friday I had the pleasure of watching my nephews Nathan and Nicholas for a few hours. My brother Brian came up from Iowa with the boys and decided to do a little shopping and then meet my dad for lunch. So the kids and I had a fun time playing:)
Here's Nathan pushing a chair around

and Nate and Nick on the trampoline

On Saturday, we dropped the kids off at my parents and then Jason and I helped at Feed my Starving Children(a place where you put together bags of dried food for starving children all over the world). It was so fun to help out! This was something that his company set up. There were around 22 of us there helping out along with two other groups. After that we had a date! We went out to lunch at Ruby Tuesdays and then went shopping at the
EP mall. I got a lot of things done that I have been wanting to do. By that time the kids were at Aunt Kelly's house for the night. Jason had his work Christmas party in
EP so that is why we hung out all day. His party was a lot of fun. We had a yummy dinner and then went and played cards(Blackjack). They also had a karaoke machine set up but didn't partake in that:) His company was celebrating their 15
th year in business and Jason has been there all 15. It is fun to see how much they have grown since then! We won a few
GC's and then we were on our way home. The next morning we slept in:) and then were off to Kelly and Chucks to pick up the kids. We stayed for Brunch and played a lot of
Wii(it's very addicting, we might have to get one of those:)).
Yesterday and today there is no school because of MLK day and a teacher workshop. So Alexis has been my big helper with the boys. She has dressed them both up in dresses and danced with them. They also went outside and played in all the snow we have.
Here she is with Bella
