Our Family: Happy New Year:)

We are all healthy! YEAH! The three of us ended up with strep throat before we left for the dells and Brayden had something else on top of that. He had a fever for 4 days and then he was fine after that. We all got some meds and are all better now:)

We had a wonderful time at the dells. The kids were great they enjoyed the pools and had a fun time with their friends. We went with friends we have met through adoption. There were 12 of us. The six adults, 1 five year old, 2 four year olds and 3 two year olds. We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo at the Wilderness Resort. It was really nice we could lay the kids down in their rooms and then spend some adult time together in the main living area. It even had a kitchen so we brought all of our food and didn't eat out while we stayed there.

Alexis lost her first tooth while we were there. It has been loose for a few weeks, but really started to loosen up the day before we left. She was eating her dinner and all of a sudden she yells "mom look" and in her hand was her little itty bitty tooth:) Yes the tooth fairy found her tooth and left some money in exchange for the tooth. That made her day!

This week has been hard to go back to work and get back into a schedule. The kids started swimming lessons this week they are going Tuesday and Thursday nights for four weeks. Which is a bummer because those are the days I work and I have been booked so i haven't been able to see them swim yet. Maybe next week, I hope, then I can get some pictures of them too.

Alexis also started back up with preschool and always has a smile on her face when I pick her up. She has been working on learning more words and doing really good at it. Today she colored some pictures and stapled them together and made a storybook out of it and read it to Me.

Brayden continues to enjoy his trucks, cars, diggers and tractors. He is learning his letters and numbers and is very proud of himself when he can say all the letters in a book:)
