A slow week...

I haven't had my main daycare kids this week, but did have a few other ones on Monday and Wednesday. So,

After swimming on Thursday we went to the park

Then they chose a yellow tube that I wouldn't let them get out of until I got a picture:)

It was getting warm so we ventured off to see some kittens at our friends house. The same ones from this post. They are getting bigger! The word is there are still no kittens at Aunt Kelly's house:)

More Summer Gymnastics...

We also have one more week of gymnastics until their one month break. Here is Alexis on the trampoline, doing a twisting seat drop.

It was HOT(95ish) this day and there is no air conditioning in the gym. So he gave the kids a cold snack.

The kids still have one more week left of swimming. The are both doing really good. Brayden is doing a lot more face dipping. While Alexis is learning some of the strokes.

Happy Fathers Day...

Yes I realize I am a little late posting this BUT better late than never, right?:)

Last Sunday was warm but a bit drizzly and rainy at times. Brayden and Alexis decided to take a dip in the lake.

My dad put his fishing boat in the lake over the weekend and we went out to find some fish with it on Sunday. The only thing caught was this Sheephead. Not exactly what we were anticipating catching!!

I never got a picture of my dad on fathers day but enjoyed the time we had out in the rain fishing:) Hope you both had a fun Fathers Day:)

When we were in Canada Brayden was suppose to bring his skateboard with him to Aunt Kelly's house. It was forgotten about when I was packing for him. So when we went to their house last Friday we brought it along.

How cute is this:) I love the little grin on Brayden's face.

Brayden had a lot of fun skateboarding. Mitch helped guide him around:) It was really fun to watch! Here are a couple videos...

Friday Night Fun House

Friday night we were invited to spend the evening with Aunt Kelly and her family. Cousin Lyndie was coming home for the weekend.

Alexis discovered there was a neighborhood cat which was starting to call their house home. She spent the whole night talking about "pancake", carrying her around and got scared once because she couldn't find her. I pointed out that it looked like she was going to be a mama cat. Alexis was so excited she called Aunt Kelly a couple days ago to see if she had had them yet:)

On Sunday we invited Aunt Kelly and Cousin Mitch out for some lake fun and dinner. I made Bulgogi and Rice, Grandma made salad and Kelly brought out cheesecake for desert. It was all really good!!

Finally a Gorgeous Weekend!!

Saturday we put the boat in the lake and the kids were ready to go in the tube, they were all giddy!
They had a lot of fun, so did we!

We went to visit our friends over the weekend and they are fostering a family of kittens

and the kids couldn't get enough of them!

and yes Alexis did ask if we could take one or two home!

But I do have to agree, they are always so cute and fun to play with!

The kids and I took a walk to look for caterpillars. We weren't able to find any but had fun looking.
