Well we woke up to frost on Wednesday morning
Frost on the life jackets and on the seats of the boat
That morning we drove across the lake(4o minutes) to a place that was suppose to be "The Spot" to catch the fish! Turns out "Our spot" to catch the fish was only about 30 seconds away from camp:) But we had "lots of excitement" trying to catch the fish in the bay they call "The Waterfall"(Which wasn't exactly how I anticipated the waterfall to be)Here's the waterfall
The 26.5 inch Walleye I caught around the waterfall area
A butterfly that landed in our boat
A rainbow from the spray of our boat on the ride home
Our last morning I rode along with the owner of the resort to the spot where he discards the fish. There is a wolf that is usually always there to eat. I got a few pictures of the wolf but he wouldn't come to close with me there.
After that it was time for our last day of fishing. We went the the bay called the goldmine. We caught one northern and that was it. Here is a loon that came by the boat. It's hard to see because it was starting to duck under the water.
After not catching a lot of fish we went back to camp to eat lunch, and fix a tire that was flat on the truck. The weather had really warmed up today(around 60) and there were storms predicted for the afternoon. So they were going to fix the tire quick and get back out fishing. Three hours, a little stress and tension, and a few laughs later the spare tire was on.
